hello to all, new to this forum. I am working a 72 chevrolet truck. I have a 1992 TBI 350 motor to put in it. I do not want the fuel injection. My questions are, will the old intake fit or can it be modded to fit, will the older headers fit, will my HEI dist. work in the TBI motor, and last, can a fuel pump be installed, or should I run a aftermarket electric fuel pump. Thank you in advance for all the help.

Yes to all your questions. Your 72's manifold will bolt right up to the '92 engine, as will your headers and distributor. The '92 motor has a fuel pump boss, so all you have to do is unbolt the factory block-off plate, install a fuel pump pushrod and fuel pump, you'll be good to go. If you'd rather run an electric pump, just leave the block-off plate alone and plump directly to the carb. That one's all up to you.

I want to run an electric fuel pump, what is a good low budget fuel pump to run and should I run a fuel pressure regulator? Sorry the questions, I have never ran an electric fuel pump.

A lot of companies have electric fuel pumps for what you want to do. I'd look at a Jegs or Summit catalog for an electric pump.
Yes, you'll need to run a regulator, but an adjustable fuel pressure regulator won't cost much and will let you fine tune the pressure for your carb.

Thanks 55Guy, what is a good psi range on a pump for a 350, stock internals, edelbrock rpm intake, headers, q-jet carb?
