I have an 80 camaro.  All stock suspension.  I was wondering if 17 x 8 is too big running low profile tires.  Will they rub.  What about 16" rims? Thanks, Jeff

I get to post a reply to myself.  If by chance you are wondering the max size of wheel and tire combo you can use on your camaro go to www.camarotech.com/WheelsAndTires.html

Their chart was taken by the Jan 2002 Chevy High Performance edition and was designed from stock ride height and real experiences. It has first thru fourth generation camaros from 15" to 17" rims and others.

That's cool, would've told you anyway that 17x8 should be just fine for an '80.
