I have a bone stock 84 El CAmino and giving thought to making a mild rod, I  might like to do a small flat blower that fits under the stock hood and dual exhausts. I have a 700 R4 trans that needs rebuilt and that could be cool. But I don;t know where to start. Anybody done this could point me in the right direction?

does this still have the original 305ci engine in it? if it does, and you have very many miles on it,a mini blower would probably be the kiss off death for this engine, with any kind boost/or abuse.if the engine is mechanically sound, you may get by on 3 to 5 pounds of boost max,and keep the rpms under 5000. the stock 305ci has cast pistons and small rod bolts, compared to a 350ci.
