I have a 91 Camaro RS with a 305 TPI and 5 speed trans.  I also have a 96 LT1 with a 4L60E trans out of a 96 Caprice. I do have all of the electronics.  I would like to put the LT1 with the 5 speed trans into the 91 Camaro.  Is this possible, is it worth doing, and what would be required?  The motor is stock right now, but I would like to make some changes before I out it in the car.  

You can do that swap. You'll need to swap in the computer and harness from an LT1 equipped 4th Gen, or get an aftermarket control harness. I'd defintiely have your current 5-speed beefed up a bit before putting it on a hopped up LT1.

Before installing the LT1, I'd put in a bigger cam, and upgrade the rest of the valvetrain.
