hey, can anyone tell me what size m/t slicks will fit under a stock 72 nova . wheel size is 15x8

i have put a 9.00x28 inch slick on a 7 inch rim on a 1970 Nova,without any rubbing problems. but i don't know on an 8 inch rim.it would have to have the right offset,or you would hit the shock or the inner fenderlip.i would say if you want to stay with the 8 inch rim,go with a 8.00x26 or a 9.00x26 slick.i know these aren't real big slicks,but useless you have a ton of horsepower,these will hook up really well.
