I am almost done restoring a 1967 Impala and need some help with what tire size I should run for the best ride. The rims are Rally wheels 15X7 in the front and 15X8 in the rear. I was looking at 265/50 15 for the rear, looking for suggestions for the front, and do anyone know if 265/50 is a good fit for the rear. Thanks for any suggestions

if you really want a good ride... don't use 50 series tires.. stick to 60 series.. the small increase in height is worth it... and you wont loose much in the way of cornering grip.
unless you are going to autocross it... and at that point you carry a set of race tires and rims...

I am at the same exact spot with my 67 Impala SS. I have 275/60 R15 on the rear and 235/70R15 on the front. Both rims are 8". They fill it out very nice.
I am looking to go 17" in the front and 18" on the rear, just checking/looking for correct offset. Anything you find out, pass it on.
