I have a 92 s-10 with a 350.  It has about 9.5 to 1 compression and runs on pump gas.  I am running a dual edelbrock low rise setup.  I have an accel billet distributor, supercoil, and wires.  My problem is it is fouling plugs about every third or fourth time it is run.  It runs great with new plugs but just for a couple of runs.  What can be my problem?  Thanks for any help!

carb?????    fuel injection???????/

if it is a carb   is it running rich?????   the choke open all the way.. when it is warm...

which carb... which jets..    is it a used carb...  carb number.????

fuel injection....

did you reinstall the factory sensors?????? or just throw that junk smog stuff away???

if so get it back out of the trash before the truck comes...

factory fuel injection needs sensors inorder to know how much fuel to spray in...

coolant temp sensor,  intake air temp sensor,  manifold pressure sensor, throttle position sensors, oxygen sensors  , GROUNDS....

grounds are really important ...   electrons flow from neg to positive....... the computer is grounded to the motor... via grounds that attach usually to the intake manifold...  sometimes to the back of the heads...  these go into the same harness that all the other fuel injection wiring does...

oh yea...    what temp thermostat...  if you have a factory calibration computer... you need to run a 192F/195F thermostat...  this keeps the coolant temps between 215F and 225F   if the ecm sees lower temps it richens up the fuel mixture to try to warm the motor to operating temp... 215 to 225...

(don't think about putting a cooler stat in to richen the mix...  it takes away power and can melt the converters ......)

so much to talk about.... not enough info to make a educated guess....

It is dual 750 carbs, it does not have any type computer or sensors.  It is a street class drag truck, 190 degree thermostat, all. radiator electric fans.  No choke horns on carb.  Personally I think it is this water they are calling gas that we have to run on.

No, it's not the gas, it's the amount going into the cylinders.

You've either got the carbs jetted way too rich, and/or not enough timing to burn all the gas out of the cylinders.

My advice, go two jets leaner on the carb, check and adjust your timing, and see what happens. You'll definitely pick up some power leaner the air/fuel out, running that rich is hurting how much power you can make.
