I have a 68 camaro and I noticed there are quite a few aftermarket subframes out there. I was wondering what would be better to replace the whole subframe or just upgrade to new components. The car currently has 4 wheel drum brakes, I want to convert to disc.

It'll be cheaper just to rebuild the whole front end with new/upgraded parts. Polygraphite bushings, tubular control arms, all new tie rods, etc. And while you've got it apart, perfect time to convert the front to disc brakes.
