Hi, I am new here so if i am not in the right spot let me know.
My question has anyone came up a better solution for the A/C vent in the center of dash for a 68 chevelle other than the one that comes with the vintage air kit. The kit is actualy for a 69 chevelle and it does not fit very well at all. I have a non-a/c dash with NO astro vents. The factory one seems to be very hard to find.

I have a 68 ss396 chevelle. The exterior trim has front/rear wheel well moldings. The fit is correct. Was that an option on this car? In the Fisher manual there is no information on this.
