I've got a '69 Corvette with a 4-speed manual and 3.70 rear gears. I want to swap-out the current motor for an LS-2 or LS-6. I remember reading a while back about needing to use the pullies and brackets from a CTS-V, since they fit closer to the block for clearance purposes. I can't find any info on what I need to complete my swap. Does GM or any other vendor offer a conversion kit, like what is offered for Camaro swaps?I plan on building-up the motor similar the this month's 571HP LS-2 build. I've got a big-block radiator in the car now, but running a modified small-block, and have had no trouble with cooling, even in South Florida's heat and humidity. Would I also need to swap this? How about my vintage air A/C unit? I would also like to swap the original 4-speed for either a Tremec TKO 600 or a Richmond 5-speed. The T-56 is out of the question for sizing/fitment issues. I'm a subscriber but new to the forums. I've obviously got alot of questions, but any help would be extremely appreciated!
