I was wondering how I can adjust my transmission so I can manually shift from first to second. Because right now it shifts when in first gear right away.Even with the shifter manually in first. Any help would be appreciated.  

when i had a similar problem it turned out to be the govenor which is located under a round housing on the side of the trans good luck.  

Thanks I have tried that it made a difference in the 2-3 shift. I have emailed a couple of transmission places,and talked to a good trans guy here and they all said that it was done to keep people from blowing up there motors. The only way to fix this is to put a manual valve body or a shift improver kit to keep this form happening. He also said that I probably will have to change the govenor weights to the lightest. thanks
