Compliments to the Staff of Super Chevy

I didn't know where to put this, but I figured this area would be as good as any.

Anyway, for those of you out there that have never met any of the staff of Super Chevy, just let me tell you about this wonderful group of guys!!

I had the opportunity to finally meet Jim C. last year at the Super Chevy show @ Maple Grove Raceway after talking with him for many months over email. Let me tell you, this guy is a CAR GUY through and through!! I never thought that someone in his position would be as down to earth and "approachable" as he is. I have met many people over the years in the auto industry (both famous and staff of other mags), and by far, this guy is the reason that the magazine is where it is today!!! He answered EVERY email I sent to him (an believe me, there were a lot of them) within a timely fashion. When we finally met, he made the time during is busy schedule to chat with me in person, and I still talk to him on occasion. That says A LOT (in my book) about the guy at the helm of this wonderful magazine!!

The new guy, Mike F...This guy I have only talked to on the phone, and I tell you what, for being the new guy, I understand why he was hired!!! I have bugged him about some things I needed, and BAM, done!!! He has been just as "approachable" as Jim C.

I have talked with many of the other staff members as well over the past year (even Jim C.'s boss!!) and from the top to the bottom, the entire staff is the same...willing to talk with you about anything car related(when time permits), pleasant, VERY friedly, and just all around good guys!!

I don't want to keep rambling, so, I just wanted to let everyone out there know that the guys behind the scenes of Super Chevy Magazine are hard working & very nice car guys that would make their time available for those of us who build and race our cars because we love to! I think these guys deserve much more credit than what they get...long hours, time away from their families, lots of headaches and pressure, etc.  

So, post up, and let them ALL know how much you appreciate what they do for us Chevy lovers!!! I know I do!! Thanks guys!!
