I am having trouble locating the proper throttle cable for my chevelle. it is a 1971 4 door with a 350 small block. the stock cable and bracket doesn't seem to be working with the rpm air gap manifold and holley 670 cfm street avenger carb i installed. I am sick and tired of mickey mouse brackets bought from pep boys that end up just bending anytime i try to adjust my transmission kickdown cable. any help as to where i could locate a cheap (im a college student with no money) replacement that will fit or a way to fabricate one of my own will be greatly appreciated. i work at a machine shop so there should be no trouble in fabricating one of my own im just wondering if anyone has any actual plans of their own i can see. thanks for any help.

just curious???? did you car come with a 2bbl carb???/
if so... think about the 2 bbl vs 4 bbl throttle linkage length...
the 4 bbl carb has the throttle cable attachment farther forward...
this might help.. try az they might have it in stock...

Hey guys I need some help I just bought a Edelbrock 650 with electric choke to put on my 67 SS Camaro. If I hook up the passing gear on the bottom hole of the linkage of the carb where does the throttle linkage go?
