I have a 63 2dr hardtop Impala. It is not an SS but I was told that this car is a very much saught after Impala. I have been trying to sell it but no real buyers have surfaced. Is this car a waste of my time or a good project? You can view pictures of the car at: www.dropshots.com/stargazer2980 and here is a description of the car:
A 63 Chevy Impala 2dr hard top a rare and great project with a good head start. It has a 327 eng MSD ignition, edelbrock 650 carb,ALL WORK WAS DONE IN 2002. The 327 reman eng has less than 12000 miles on it and a freshly rebuilt 350 turbo trans the car runs very strong and is a great street rod and the entire car has been rewired with a painless wiring harness, all new brake master cyl hardware and drums.new frt springs, and all new frt parts. This car is a great project and has been an exellent back up piece of transportation but now its really just wasting away it had little to no rust and still is in good shape but now has rust it didnt have a must see a great buy CALL KELL AT 404-542-5355 $7500 OBO

can you say too many boat launches........ maybe someone drilled the trim holes after it was painted.. yes those are desirable models... many people have lost them at gun point out there in so cal over the last few decades...
it reminds me of cars with vinal tops that the top guy went around with a razor blade to cut off the excess material,,,, cut right through the paint leaving bare metal ....
almost like having your car keyed and not knowing about it...
