Hi I just rebuilt a Chev 350 (now a 355) 4 bolt main 3970010 block bored 30 over with a 262 Extreme energy Comp cam and a Eldebrock 600 cfm carb that will be going into my 1969 Chevelle. The rear end has either 273 gear ratio or 308 not positive which. The engine will be hooked up to a turbo 350.  I have no intentions of taking this car to the track although I may step on it once and awhile and take it out for the occasional highway trip. I am thinking a torque converter in the 2700 to 3000 range but would like to hear what anyone else may suggest. Thanks

I'd go with a 3000 stall lock-up converter to help get your Chevelle moving from a start, but once you're cruisng won't kill your mileage.
