Was debating some different car projects with some buddies at the bar, and started thinking of some projects that would make for fast cars, and unique cars.

One idea I had was to take an early 3rd Gen with the Iron Duke 4-cyl engine, adn replace that with a blown 2.2 Ecotec motor out of a Cobalt SS.

Another thought was a blown 3.8L V-6 in place of the 4-cylinder. Lightweight and lots of power.

What do you guys think? Remember, this is just ideas for a project that would be different and stand out from the rest of the Camaros.

55guy, actually there is a whole crowd of turbo v6 camaro's on 3rdgen.org now a new ecotec with big honkin' turbo would be a first. alot of room to work with there. build it to rev to 9000 rpm and your talking scootin. i love the 3rdgen i wish there we specialty ones made, like motion or yenko. i have yet to here of any such cars other than the early 80's motion and players cup race cars. the body lines on the 3rdgen are the best. i'm still looking to see a real super car with a built 305. it can be built, how? out $100 bills thats how.
