Talk about true hot rods! These things are still affordable by kids, they handle like go carts right off the bat (IROCs), and there are not very many nice ones around, at least here. I just love these things. Yeah, the engines are one weak point, but the TPI is a great setup and it never takes much work to get a 350 going fast. The MAF system adapts very well to various engine mods and you will only have to get a new chip burned if you get very aggresive. I would love to see more write ups on these cars.

The 3rd Gens aren't gonna stay so affordable too much longer. (I have a '92 305 RS, soon to be a 350!)

The supply of 2nd Gen cars is starting to thin, even for the later 2nd Gens, and the 4th Gens were such a pain to work on, that leaves the 3rd gens as the affordable option. When demand goes up, so will the price.

Start hording 3rd Gens now!!! :-)
