My 400 all of a sudden went to 0 oil ppressure after warmup at idle and 30 pounds at 2500 RPM. Is there a way to troubleshoot the oil pump?

Only safe way to tell is pull the distributor and manifold, use and oil pump primer and spin the pump manually, see if you're getting oil into the lifter gallery and up to the rockers. Also, have someone turn the power on and watch the oil pressure gauge to see if it responds when you turn the pump with the primer.
It could be just a bad sending unit if you have an electric oil pressure gauge.

I was hoping it was a sending unit. But I installed a manual gauge and same thing, after warmup the pressure goes to 0. The only thing weird is I cant hear the lifters making any noise even at 0 oil pressure. Pretty tired of this thing, think i will just jerk it out go thru the whole thing. Want to switch to automatic any way this will be a good time.
