Just waiting on the fasteners to start puting the engine together for Purple Haze. We're using a ZZ4 shortblock, fastburn heads, and a host of other goodies from GM Performance Parts to give our '92 some extra motivation.

Over the course of assembly, were gonna show you how to put together your own engine.

Stay tuned!

hey, did we skip steps or was i not paying attention? also how much for this zz4 and how did you have it equipt. zz4 is most likely way to get good power for this car, i have same car. arctic white w/ red strips red cloth interior heritage rs 92 tbi w/ t-5. i live in volusia county 1/2 hour south of daytona. i usually post on 3rdgen.org but it seems to have way to many "experts". the other day doing an oil change i used up some lighter oil i had, next day had low oil pressure. i was hoping it wasn't bad compression but then remembered duh, lighter oil. how do you plan on tuning this car, with carb or tbi. i like tbi, but i cant find a shop to tune the ecm.
