i have a question for everyone or anyone i'm building a real nice 1992 show truck and, i'm going with the muscle car theme i would like to know if anybody or anyone has ever seen a yenko cloned truck.I know that Yenko never did a truck but i'm looking for something different,i firgured that i have the best body chevy truck to work with not taking away from the other truck bodies but in 92 you had the 454 ss and the sport then in 93 you had the indy pace truck. I would just like to know if anyone or anybody has seen one.

I've never seen one, but I like your idea. Late model Chevy trucks have stayed below the radar as potential performance projects. They're cheap, easy to work on, and have a ton of parts available.
Consider this. It'd cost you probably 10-15k for an LS equipped Camaro. For 5-6k, you could find a used 99-01 Chevy half ton with a 4.8 or 5.3 LS engine, that uses msot of the same performance parts the LS1 does. What's the more affordable project? The truck.
I've got a '92 Silverado myself. I'm putting things together for a overhaul/performance build with the truck. It's got almost 190k miles on the clock, and the old girl is getting a little tired. The body's in great shape, and the biggest thing interior wise is the dash has cracked up.

I'm trying to do the same thing with my truck. It already has the muscle body it just needs the engine to show it. I have a 79' silverado stepside halfton. Sadly it only has a 305 in it but maybe someday it will get a bigger one. But im new to this and learning as i go so if you have any tips that would be a great help!
