I just bought a Firebird 1980 with a Chevy 350 CUI (small block)motor. I would like to change spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter and air filter.
What kind of plugs, oil, filters do i need?

I live in Holland.

Assuming the motor is stock, the spark plugs would be a standard plug. Since you're in Europe, I'd guess that Bosch is the most common brand, for your motor it would be a Bosch standard plug, part no. 7586

Engine oil depends on the mileage of the motor, outdoor climate, etc. I'd say go with a 10W-30 oil to start with. Oil filter would be a Bosch 3322, though to be safe I'd take the filter that's on the car to the parts store with you and match it up to be sure. Same thing for the air filter.

Question: In which model Chevy was my motor used? Maybe i can then look for a repair manual for that model.
I already bought a manual for the Firebird but i do not know if the specs differ to that of the Chevy.

The Chevy 350 was installed in so many different car and truck models, you only get into specific differences when dealing with the accesories like alternator, water pump, etc and the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. The long block was identical for the most part.

A good manual on the small block Chevy would be the best thing to get. In 1980 the Firebird still used a Pontiac 301 motor, they hadn't gone to using the "corporate" engines, which were Chevy 350s and 305s. So your Firebird manual won't help much when it comes to engine stuff, but the rest of the car it'll be great for.

well there buddy there is a way to id this engine just look on  the passenger side cylinder block just in front of the cylinder head on the pad of block that is sticking out
this area has numbers and letters like VO,BD
SOME HAVE THREE LETTERS send me thease numbers along with the head numbers located under the valve cover [sometimes a good light thru the oil fill cap will show the numbers if clean] about 7 to 9 numbers long should only need last 4 186,463,292etc
