Is there anyone out there who would know if there is any direct fit rear axle assy. that fits in a 62 Chevy II.I heard a 1st.gen camaro fits right in but does anyone know for sure.The axle assy has to be 51 inchs backing plate to backing plate....

Since the First Gen Camaros shared many of the same underpinnings as the Nova, a First Gen Camaro rear should bolt up just fine.

63 nova has a 51 in rear end camaro 67 to 69 are 52 first gen nova has a verry small wheel opening my car had a 12 bolt shortened to factory specs still not much room 8 in wheels are on but they carved out the wheel well lip so a 52 in no go
